Cape of Storms Members of CRAG are ecologically aware runners who prefer the paths of the mountain, forest and beach to tarred roads; the smell of the fynbos and the call of frogs to the exhaust fumes and roar of traffic.

On our runs/walks/hikes "soul food" is as important as excercise! We live in such a beautiful part of the world that we do stop to enjoy the views - to regroup - and to catch our breath!

CRAG welcomes newcomers!

Patrick at dawnCRAG runs for about 90 minutes every Wednesday, starting at 17:30. We start at different venues each time, (you will be informed of the venue by email). There are usually longer runs on a Saturday or Sunday as well.

Bring light anoraks, headlights or torches in winter and some refreshment for after the run! plus warm clothes for while we stand around chatting. Most runs also cater for fast walkers.

Sadly it is not a good idea to run alone these days, especially if you are female. If you want company for a run on the mountain at times other than a scheduled CRAG run, phone Ian at 5076327 (w) and we'll try to put you in contact with other Craggers.

If there's a fork in the path, take it
    If in doubt, UP !
